Rogallo Koi

Rogallo Koi is an endless arcade side-scroller, which follows the story of flying koi fish in rural Japan.  

In the game, players are helping the koi fish to find a new home by creating the wind that lifts them or makes them fall, so as to avoid incoming obstacles, dangerous demons, and overcome challenges.  

Each player creates the air that lifts their own koi. However, every player also has the ability to use a powerful downdraft that quickly pushes all the koi fish towards the bottom of the screen. 

The gameplay is fast-paced, multiplayer and cooperative. Even if one of the players' koi fish flies off the screen, they will come back after a while, as long as the other players' fish remain afloat. 

Rogallo Koi was initially developed to be exhibited at the Gotland Game Conference 2023.
